The International Society for Economics and Social Sciences of Animal Health 2025 conference kicked off in Utrecht (NL) on 14 October. The VetEconomics team attended alongside UMR ASTRE members of the Cirad (Montpellier, FR) and other francophones.

Lisa Vors presented her poster on the factors affecting the applicability of animal health management measures in a flash presentation. Anthony Giacomini presented his assessment of the economic burden of animal diseases in the French dairy cattle sector, based on the GBADs methodology (see GBADs post on LinkedIn).

Both presentations received excellent feedback and sparked interesting discussions with other participants. The conference ended on 16 October, marking a successful conclusion for the team.
